Board of Education Communications and Meetings: Board of Education Business Meeting and Work Session, February 9, 2026

The Steamboat Springs School District Board of Education will hold a business meeting and work session on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 4:00 pm at Steamboat Springs Middle School, 39610 Amethyst Dr. The meeting will start with a potential executive session. Reports and Communications will include SSSD Celebrations, a District Accountability Committee Update, an Affordable Housing Update, an Alternative to Coffee with the Board Discussion, a Strategic Plan Focus Area Two Update, and a Superintendent Succession Process Update.  The work session will follow the business meeting and the work session topics will include: Monitoring Compliance Reporting Review, and a Special Education Advisory Council Update.  The meeting will be held in person and will also be livestreamed on the District website. If you would like to participate in public comment, you will need to attend the meeting in person and sign up to speak. The work session will follow the business meeting and is open to the public but will not be livestreamed.
