SGS Athletics General Information

SGS School Sponsored Sports Slideshow

Hello Families,

We know summer is just getting started, but fall sports actually begin before the school year starts. We wanted to share some important information now so families can plan ahead.

All athletes must complete a Google Form when it is sent out (or posted here, online) in late July specific to their sport to be allowed to practice or compete in athletics.  Here is a copy of our athletics schedule for the year.

A sports physical must be turned in to the coach or front office on or before the first day of participation. Physicals are valid for one year from the exam date.

Students participating in Football, Cheer, Basketball, or Wrestling must also provide proof of a current ImPACT test on or before the first day of practice. ImPACT tests are valid for two years from the test date.  If you need an impact test, you can reach out to Pediatrics of Steamboat for testing options or you can take the impact test at home. Link to test at home here: Checkout - ImPACT Baseline Test (baselinetesting.com) Test at home cost $20.
